ENACT LAW ON JUDGES APPOINTMENTS

…ConCourt says Article 140 of the Constitution gives the President powers to appoint judges on recommendation of the Judicial Service Commission

THE Constitutional Court has recommended to Parliament to quickly put in place a legislation that would provide clear guidance to the processes and procedure of appointing Judges and ensure transparency as opposed to the current system where the President handpicks Judges for the superior courts at his discretion.
