SAFADA against calls to ban growing of local seeds

THE Small Scale farmers Development Agency (SAFADA) has appealed to the government not to entertain calls to enact laws to ban the growing of local seeds.

There have been calls from some Multinational companies for Zambia to enact a law that will make it a criminal offense planting or sharing local indigenous seed varieties
