LUSAKA magistrate Kelvin Soma has rebuked Economic and Equity (EEP) leader, Chilufya Tayali and warned him to stop answering back when he is giving him advice.
“Shup up” magistrate Soma scolded as Tayali tried to defend himself why he missed the last sitting.
This is in a matter in which Tayali pleaded not guilty to inciting to mutiny contrary to section 48 subsection A of the penal code chapel 47 of the law of Zambia.
Earlier, the court had warned Tayali to avail himself at the Lusaka Magistrate Court or he risks spending a night in prison.
And when the matter came up for continuation of trial, the court asked Tayali to exculpate himself and give reasons why he disappeared at the Lusaka Magistrate Court premises when he knew his matter was coming up. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE
