THE Small-Scale Farmers Development (SAFADA) says the measures that government has put in place to address the current drought situation in the country are insufficient.
SAFADA executive director Boyd Moobwe said in as much as the organisation appreciates the declaration of the drought as a national disaster, the President should have pointed out how poor people will be helped from now up to the next farming season. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE
