Vegetable growers request govt. to import 30, 000 MT of onion

THE Fruit and Vegetable Association of Zambia has written to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry requesting for the association to import about 30, 000 metric tonnes of onion following the shortage of the vegetable on the local market.

Currently, there is a shortage of vegetables on the markets which includes onion, tomatoes and potatoes with most farmers affected by drought. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE
