Cart is empty A new PET radiotracer that visualizes the enzyme primarily responsible for metabolic cholesterol degradation in the brain has been successfully validated, according to research presented at the 2023 Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Annual Meeting. Known as 18F-Cholestify, the radiotracer holds the potential to substantially improve clinical neuroimaging, laying the foundation for new image-guided trials to study neurodegenerative diseases and neurological disorders.
