ZAMBIA’S only envoys in the CAF Champions League Power Dynamos, have set up base in Johannesburg, South Africa ahead of the much-anticipated clash with African Stars of Namibia.
The Zambian champions will face African Stars in South Africa in the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League before hosting the return leg which will be played at Ndola’s Levy Mwanawasa Stadium a week later.
Power Dynamos gaffer Mwenya Chipepo has assembled a competitive squad led by captain Godfrey Ngwenya, goal keeper Lawrence Mulenga and lethal top man Andy Boyeli, the Congolese international who won the top scorer’s award as Power Dynamos won the domestic league title and qualify for the continental championship.
Power Dynamos are aiming to reach the Group Stage of the prestigious continental championship.
Power Dynamos vice president Ferdinand Menzu said the Zambian giants are determined to make the country proud as they fight to achieve the set objectives for the season.
