Inhibition of stimulator of interferon genes protects against myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury in diabetic mice

Although the past decade has witnessed substantial scientific progress with the advent of cardioprotective pharmacological agents, most have failed to protect against myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury in diabetic hearts. An imbalance of unhealthy and healthy microbes in the intestines may contribute to weight gain, high blood sugar, above-normal cholesterol and other disorders.

In addition, more attention should be paid to girls and lonely adolescents, as well as those rating their health as poor, as they may be more prone to mental health problems.
